Guide to Slope Greening with Local Native Species (Road Edition)

Slope greening for biodiversity conservation without using non-native species.

Yukijirushi Seed Co., Ltd., which produces and sells feed crops, vegetables, flowers, and fertilizer crop seeds, proposes greening of slopes using local native species. Local ecosystems have developed over a long period of time under a delicate balance. To preserve local ecosystems, the use of native species and even local varieties is required, and our company offers seed-infused planting soil bags and seed-infused planting sheets. 【Grass Species Selection Process】 ■ On-site greening tests ■ Field germination tests ■ Collection and propagation tests *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Utilization-type vegetation construction using wood chips from Ishikawa Prefecture.

It will lead to the promotion of the utilization of timber produced in Ishikawa Prefecture.

The wood chip utilization type vegetation construction from Ishikawa Prefecture is a vegetation technology developed in collaboration with Maeda Kousen Co., Ltd. and the Ishikawa Prefectural Forest Association, aimed at achieving "local production for local consumption" and "rapid recovery" essential for regional revitalization during disasters. 【Features】 1. Local Production for Local Consumption: By using wood chips generated within Ishikawa Prefecture, it promotes the utilization of locally sourced timber. Additionally, effectively utilizing wood chips produced during the processing of raw timber helps reduce environmental impact from disposal. 2. Early Greening with Fulvic Acid: It contains fulvic acid (a plant growth promoter made from domestically sourced thinning timber), enabling early greening. *Note: The Midorino series (market-priced products) does not contain fulvic acid. 3. Reliable Quality: Since it is based on existing vegetation materials*, high vegetation effects are expected. (*) Fulvic series (NETIS: KT-190024-A) and Guardrain series (NETIS: CB-150003-VE)

Useful Construction Case Studies: Slope Greening Examples in Disaster Recovery Projects

We have gathered numerous examples of greening in disaster recovery projects. Introducing Longtai products that excel in "early greening and erosion prevention"!

This document is a collection of case studies on the restoration of slopes that have collapsed due to natural disasters, using vegetation sheets, vegetation mats, and vegetation sandbags. We, at Rontai, have been manufacturing the above-mentioned greening materials for "vegetation work" to protect slopes for over 65 years. These products can be installed manually, eliminating the need for large machinery, allowing for rapid greening protection even in narrow or small areas. As a result, many of our products are actively used in disaster recovery sites. The appropriate products vary depending on the site conditions. We have created materials that allow for comparison with your challenging site and help visualize the post-greening restoration. We focus on products specialized for "early greening and erosion prevention," which are crucial in disaster recovery work, and also introduce economical products and user-friendly vegetation sandbags!

Easier grass cutting of field ridges for railways (maintenance)

We support embankment management in track reinforcement with weed control effects and centipede grass.

In the railway industry, weed control has become an important issue in the maintenance and management of areas around the tracks. In particular, proper mowing and weeding are essential to ensure visibility of the tracks and to prevent deterioration of equipment. However, these tasks pose challenges due to the time and costs involved. Our products facilitate greening of the embankments through the introduction of centipede grass, thereby reducing the frequency of mowing and alleviating the burden of maintenance management. 【Usage Scenarios】 - Embankments beside the tracks - Green spaces within stations - Areas surrounding railway facilities 【Benefits of Implementation】 - Reduction in the frequency and cost of mowing - Improvement of the landscape - Prevention of soil erosion
